Canadian Mental Health Association for the Kootenays would like to thank everyone for their patience during these unprecedented times of COVID-19. Commencing June 15 2020, our staff will be returning to their offices to deliver services in a ‘new’ normal way . Some changes you will see are Plexiglas installed at reception areas for our safety as well as yours. We will also ensure our lobby areas and areas where persons served will be meeting are sanitized regularly.
We ask that you help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and do NOT enter our facilities if you:
- have any of the following symptoms:
- fever
- chills
- new or worsening cough
- shortness of breath
- new muscle aches or headache
- sore throat
- have traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
- are a close contact of a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, refer to HealthLink BC at 811.
As per WorkSafe BC, we have implemented a CMHAK Returning to Work Plan May 29 2020. This plan is a living document and will be updated as per the requirements and protocols set out by WorkSafe BC, Provincial Health Officer and our program funders.
We are looking forward to seeing and serving you again.
Stay safe and healthy!
