Essential Items Project for 2023 a SUCCESS
Dec 15, 2023
On behalf of Canadian Mental Health Association for the Kootenays (CMHA Kootenays) we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your commitment and generous donations to our 2023 Essential Items project.
CMHA Kootenays is deeply committed to contributing to our community by helping all people to live mentally healthy lives. We could not do our work without your support, and for that we are very grateful for your sponsorship.
With your support CMHA Kootenays was able to provide 127 essential items boxes serving 276 individuals (59 males, 116 females and 101 children under the age of 18) to those in need in our community. Community members in receipt of these boxes were able to put an average of $90 per box ($41 per individual) aside for holiday expenses. These donations did more than help to provide these essential items – it brought joy and appreciation and allowed individuals and families to purchase a gift for their loved ones this holiday season.
