International Women’s Day Nominee

Happy International Women’s day!

In honour of International Women’s Day, the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre, MJ’s Floral Boutique and Summit Community Services partnered to honour inspiring women in the community- the community was encouraged to nominate an inspiring woman in their life to be recognized on International Women’s Day.  Today, Alia our 2^nd Stage Housing Support Worker was presented with a certificate and flowers from Nancy at Women’s Resource Centre and Katie from Summit Community Services recognizing all the hard work Alia does not only for the women she works with, but as a positive community member!

Congratulations Alia, and thank you to all who nominated her! We are honoured that she is part of the CMHA Kootenays team!
