World Suicide Prevention Day Sponsorship Thank you

Sep 30, 2026

CMHA Kootenays would like to send out a HUGE thank you for the kind and generous sponsorship from George Berry at Berry Architecture & Associates for sponsoring the event. George has always been a huge mental health ambassador and his commitment to our organization and our community was demonstrated by sponsoring this event. This sponsorship afforded us to have Chris Beaudry present to the community information on mental health.

We would also like to thank the Sookenai Singers, Just Music, Maddisun, the community organizations who displayed their resource information, the staff and volunteers who gave their time and the business sponsors for the door prizes:

Artisan Olive Oils and Vinegars, Shoppers Drug Mart – Kimberley, Sweet Gestures, Hemp 2000, Old Crow Emporium, The Bean Tree Cafe, Black Dog Cylce & Ski, Sew Creative Quilt Shop, Funk Haus Craft, Lab, The Grater Good, Moody Bee, Burrito Grill, Encore, and Pharmasave – Cranbrook.

This event was a success, because of you. Please know you are not alone and there is always someone you can talk to – call or text 9-8-8
