Do you have an interest in volunteering for a mental health organization that offers housing, women and youth services, public education, volunteer and crisis services? Look no further, we have a Volunteer position waiting for you!!

As a Board Director, you will be responsible for

• establishing and maintaining the purpose and direction of CMHA Kootenays
• ensuring the organization is effectively and efficiently managed
• ongoing evaluation of CMHA Kootenays direction, mission and effectiveness
• regular assessment of the Board’s performance and
• financial integrity of the organization.

Specialized Experience and Competencies we are seeking:

• Human resources / labour negotiations
• Counselling / mental health / psychologist / psychiatrist
• Financial management / accounting
• Senior or executive leadership
• Regional service sector / health, social services education
• Economic or community development
